Thought For The Day- Who Is On Your Side

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 NKJV

It is important to know who is on your team and who is not. Not everyone you call friend, not all your co workers, not all the thousands of people who likes your social media posts and yes, not even all family members are on or always on your side. This is the harsh reality of this world, that is why getting likes on social media is now a frenzy. Just because you get a thousand likes does not mean that the thousand people who liked your post actually likes you as a person. Now stay with me for a second, am not trying to be cruel, my blogs are based on events I have experienced myself and how God, through Jesus Christ helped me through it. I came to discover that some people I thought were on my side were actually against me. I was surrounded by friends and some family but I felt alone. If you have ever felt like this, it is because the people you are surrounded by may not necessarily be on your side.

The feeling of being alone could cause you to be fearful and be dismayed but be encouraged and be of good cheer. The verse above was spoken by The Almighty God himself and if you have a true relationship with him through Jesus Christ his son, this is what God is saying to you today. If you have a lot of people on your side (at least, if you think you do) and you don’t have God, you still don’t have enough people. If you don’t think you have anyone on your side and you have God, then you have more than enough. If God is on your side, anyone that goes up against you has to go up against the Almighty God and he has never lost a battle. Because of this, I know that I will always be victorious and I never have to fear because I have Jesus on my side. Do you have Jesus on your side? These are Julien’s Thoughts and what’s on his mind.
